Bilingual Active Pedagogy Space in Nature
Inspired by an alternative and respectful education, we accompany families with children aged 2 to 6 in an outdoor space set in a small pine forest, with a shelter as our meeting point. The project runs in English as the common language and is based on an active methodology, in which children are the protagonists of their own learning.
We always start from each child’s real interests, respecting their individual rhythms. The educators accompany the process by offering the resources children need to experiment, investigate and explore, through free play and meaningful activities that support emotional, psychomotor, sensory and social development.
This project takes place mainly in Blossom Pine Forest, a unique natural setting where we combine forest, marshland and beach as complementary natural classrooms, adapted to the different ages and moments of the group.
Bilingual play groups and workshops in nature
An educational project for children aged 3 to 12, organised in small groups of up to 10 participants per educator. It takes place in a natural pine-forest setting in the Mogarizas–Cerromolinos area of Chiclana de la Frontera.
We offer a space for free play and outdoor workshops where freedom of movement, under an attentive and respectful eye, allows authentic and caring expression of both the body and the bond with the natural environment. This project runs in the afternoons and during summer camps.
Training in alternative pedagogies
We develop training programmes linked to active pedagogy and alternative methodologies, understood as coherent ways of accompanying childhood and youth. We offer courses, training and work placements, both within and beyond the bilingual active pedagogy space, and we have collaboration agreements with schools in the province.
International Erasmus placements
For years, Growing Together has welcomed international students who complete their Erasmus placements with us, taking an active part in the day-to-day life of the project. These experiences enrich the educational environment and strengthen the multicultural, community character of the space.
Community events and activities
We organise gatherings, workshops and cultural events for our local community, with the aim of creating spaces for meeting, reflection and shared learning. These activities arise from the real needs of the group and are developed in line with the social, educational and human values that underpin the project.
Educational talks and workshops
We offer talks, workshops and spaces for reflection for families, students and professionals working with children and young people, with a regular programme that addresses current and relevant topics in respectful education and conscious parenting.
Collaborations and networks
Growing Together is part of a collaborative network of foundations, associations and educational projects, both nationally and internationally. Over the years, we have established agreements and collaborations that allow us to enrich the project, share practices and keep learning alongside other like-minded initiatives in respectful education, active pedagogy and cultural exchange.
These alliances reinforce the living, open character of the project, keeping it in constant dialogue with the educational and social community around it.
